2009



15th February: Film “The continual movement of the coasts” with Jean-Pierre Tastet, Honorary Professor at the University of Bordeaux.

February and March: Memories workshop at Gaillan, “My village in the 20th century” by means of class photos and old peoples’ testimonies; an approach to the notion of time, in conjunction with the children of the Cp and the CE1.

Sunday, 29th March: outing to Patiras Island. Departure from Pauillac port, meal on the island, visit to the lighthouse.

4th and 5th (Sunday) April: participation in the 7th JAHM in the Salle des Fêtes at Pauillac.

9th March: Geological reserve of Saucats and visit to the Château of La Brède.

14th June: canoe trip down the canal of the lakes between Le Porge and the Bassin d’Arcachon.

14th July: Open-house at the archaeological site of La Chapelle at Jau-Dignac-Loirac, tour of the Phare de Richard lighthouse and of the fishing cabin, picnic at the lighthouse, walk to the dig.

19th September: presentation of the Association at the Forum of Associations in Cissac

20th September: Heritage days at the Hourtin lighthouse.

27th September: day in the Grandes Landes and Chaloise. Coach trip, visit to the Chapel of Ousse-Suzan, crypt of Hagetmau, and the museum of the Venus of Brassempouy.

1st October: participation in the Cellule-Culture of the Pays-Médoc.

6th December: visit to the Museum of Aquitaine in Bordeaux.



2008



Saturday, 23rd February: presentation and survey of the sheepfolds by Charlotte Rhein.

Saturday, 12th April: day in the domaine de Pachan at Parempuyre (Federation of Hunters), with a close look at a dove house (“palombière”), a hide (“tonne”), and the different species of birds nesting at the time. Picnic on site.

Sunday, 18th May: visit to the archaeological site of Fâ in the Charente, plus visit to Talmont and its church.

Sunday, 23rd – Friday, 28th May: teaching workshop on charcoal burners at Gaillan school.

In June: several teaching workshops on charcoal burning with the schoolchildren at Hourtin and St. Laurent de Médoc.

Saturday, 21st June: discovering wild edible plants with Dany Potel (Association Cicendèle Productions) at Gaillan. Midday meal prepared with the plants collected, accompanied by Côtes be Bourg wine.

5th July to 31st August: helping spread the word about the exhibition of 4 German artists at Vertheuil. Exhibition organised and presented by Alain Tandille, former President of the Ecomuseum “Garde-Mémoire” at Vertheuil.

Monday, 14th July: Open day at the archaeological site of Jau-Dignac-Loirac; welcome by the Archaeological Association of the site of La Chapelle.

30th August: Flute and piano concert at Bégadan by Julie Moulin and Frédéric Sommer; some modest help to the Association of the Phare de Richard.

Monday, 15th September – Friday, 19th September: charcoal burning workshops at St. Laurent de Médoc.

Saturday, 20th September: participation in the Festival of Iron (“Fête de Fer”) at St. Laurent de Médoc, organised by the Association “Savoir-fer en Médoc”.

Saturday, 25th October: outing to Cousseau lake with Jean-Pierre Coste. All about the mushrooms, plants and trees present on the nature reserve of Cousseau. Picnic by the water.
